چکیده
Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), also known as hydrotalcite-like compounds, are widely used in many fields due to their unique structural advantages. Based on LDHs, a wide range of metal catalysts could be synthesized with high dispersion, tunable acid-base properties, facile but flexible preparation methods, strong metal-support interaction, and thermal stability. Owing these outstanding advantages, LDH-derived materials manifest great potential catalysts, particularly hydrogenation hydrogenolysis reactions. More than 200 papers published the past five years this field clearly indicated rapid development materials. In respect, it is imperative essential provide timely review summarize current progress motivate greater research effort derived from LDHs. review, applications heterogeneous various reactions were comprehensively discussed. Hydrogenation unsaturated chemical bonds, hydrodeoxygenation oxygenated carbon–carbon bonds nitrites nitriles described. This demonstrates extraordinary potentials reactions, undoubted that will play an even more significant role foreseeable future.

Catalytic characterization of bi-functional catalysts derived from Pd–Mg–Al layered double hydroxides
Hydrotalcite like precursors containing Pd–Mg–Al with varying molar ratios, (Pd + Mg)/Al ≈ 3 and Mg/Pd ≈ 750 to 35, were prepared by coprecipitation of metal nitrates at constant pH. Characterization of samples as synthesized and their calcined products by elemental analyses, powder XRD, TG–DTA, FT–IR spectroscopy, TPR and N2 physisorption indicated a well crystalline hydrotalcite like structur...
متن کاملHigh Active Zn/Mg-Modified Ni–P/Al2O3 Catalysts Derived from ZnMgNiAl Layered Double Hydroxides for Hydrodesulfurization of Dibenzothiophene
A series of ZnMgNiAl layered double hydroxides (LDHs) containing 20 wt.% Ni and different Zn/Mg molar ratios were prepared by a coprecipitation method, and then were introduced with H2PO4 via a microwave-hydrothermal method. With the resulting mixtures as the precursors, Zn/Mg-modified ZnMgNi–P/Al2O3 catalysts were prepared. The Zn/Mg molar ratio affected the formation of Ni2P and Ni12P5 in nic...

A novel nanocage structure derived from carboxymethyl-cyclodextrins (CMCDs) intercalated in layered double hydroxides (LDHs), whose gates can be controlled by the process of swelling/drying the CMCD-LDH, has been prepared. Furthermore, the extent of opening of this nanocage structure can be controlled by swelling in different solvents. Dodecylbenzene (DDB) as the guest molecule has been incorpo...
متن کاملLayered double hydroxides: Novel nanocatalysts for combustion of gaseous toluene from polluted air
The catalytic performance of Ni-Al, Mg-Al, and Co-Ni LDHs as novel nanocatalysts was evaluated in the oxidation of toluene. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The XRD and FTIR approved the structure and functional groups of the LDH, respectively. Also, the presence of cations with dif...
